We have appointed Noman Aftab as our new Chief Technology and Product Officer. A dynamic and experienced professional in the technological industry, Noman has more than 20 years of experience working with various agencies in the United States, Europe, South Africa, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Prior to joining iStore iSend, Noman has held a few senior positions and roles and has contributed greatly to the operations as well as the implementation and strategic planning of these corporations. Noman specialises in advancing IT implementations and technology operations, where he also develops technical leadership potential by strategically utilising IT to improve the efficiency and productivity of the corporation.
In his new role, Noman will be leading the company’s vision in technology, implementing strategies and ensuring technological resources are aligned with iStore iSend’s needs in the e-commerce industry.
At the same time, Kunasellaan Kathigesan has been appointed as our new Chief Business Officer. Throughout his 12 years of people management experience and 8 years in the e-commerce industry, Kuna has worked closely with internet giants like Alibaba Group and Rocket Internet and has served as the Vice President of Commercial Excellence with Digikala, the biggest e-commerce platform in Iran.
Having had experience in the Southeast Asia and Middle East E-Commerce market, Kuna has also co-founded Next Commerce, an e-commerce enabler in Dubai with the aim to help businesses to successfully sell their products on e-commerce platforms in the region. Kuna has led Next Commerce’s growth, particularly the business development, operations and partnerships to general administrations division of the company.
With his proficiency in business development and operations of e-commerce, Kuna will lead iStore iSend team in business and corporate development activities as well as monitor and correct the strategy and plans to ensure that the business is aligned with the company’s vision and strategy.
